Equipment trolley (switchgear draw-out element trolley) - a metal structure for moving a switching apparatus (or other devices) inside the draw-out element compartment of the complete switchgear cabinet.
The structure is equipped with:
1. Selector switches that enable use of draw-out element position signals;
2. Mechanical interlocks that prevent:
- Movement of the draw-out element when the power compartment door is open;
- Movement of the draw-out element when an earthing disconnector is on;
- Movement of the draw-out element with the vacuum circuit breaker in On position;
- Operating of a vacuum circuit breaker when the draw-out element is in the intermediate condition.
Motorized equipment trolley - a metal structure for moving a switching apparatus (or other devices) inside the draw-out element compartment of the complete switchgear cabinet, with the capability of remote control of draw-out element movement from the test position to the operating position (draw-in action) and back to the test position (draw-out action) in complete switchgear cabinet.
Motorized equipment trolley can be controlled in two modes:
- Remote control (motorized equipment trolley is moved by an electric motor through a gear unit, coupling, and chain drive installed in it);
- Manual control (motorized equipment trolley is moved by a draw-out element operation handle).
The electric motor of the motorized equipment trolley is designed for 220 V d.c. and 180W power. Operating conditions: maximum one cycle of draw-in-draw-out in 5 minutes.
A control unit is coming with motorized equipment trolley, installed in the complete switchgear relay protection and automation cabinet.
The unit operation algorithm implements interlocks that prevent:
- Draw-in of the motorized equipment trolley when the draw-out element compartment door is open;
- Draw-in of the motorized equipment trolley when the ZRF earthing switch is On;
- Draw-in of the motorized equipment trolley when the busbar earthing switch is On;
- Draw-in/out of the motorized equipment trolley when circuit breaker is On.
